i would say that the book entitled Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom is a great book. he wrote about his tuesday 'classes' with his favourite teacher, Morrie. Morrie was terminally ill. however, every tuesday, Mitch goes back to Morrie to learn more about life. here are some of the lessons...

If you hold back on your emotions and you don't allow yourself to go all the way through it, you can never get to being detached, you're too busy being afraid. afraid of loneliness, afraid of pain and grief. but by throwing yourself into the emotions, you experience them fully and completely. you know what pain is. you know what grief is, you know what love is. and only then, you can say :"all right, i have experience that emotion. i recognize that emotion. now i need to detach from that emotion for a moment."

I thought of how often this is needed in everyday life. how we feel lonely, to the point of tears, but we dont let those tears come because we are not suppose to cry. or how we feel a surge of love for a partner but we dont say anything because we're frozen with the fear of what those words might do to the relationship.same for loneliness - you should just let go, let the tears flow, feel it completely, but eventually be able to say:"all right, that was my moment with loneliness, but now im going to put loneliness aside and know that there are other emotions in the world, and im going to experience them as well. tears are ok.

In this culture, its so important to find a loving relationship with someone that many poor kids today, either they are too selfish to take part in a real marriage or they rush into marriage and six months later, they get divorced. they don't know what they want in a partner. they don't even know themselves. so, how can they know who they are marrying? in love and marriage: if you don't respect the other person, you're gonna get into a lot of trouble. if you don't know how to compromise, you're gonna get into a lot of trouble. if you cant talk openly about what goes on between you, you're gonna get into a lot of trouble. and if you don't have a common set of values in life, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. however, the biggest ones of those values is your belief in the importance of your marriage.

This prom was on 31/3/06... The head of the organizing committee was Alex... He did a great job...! i had quiet a nice time taking photos, enjoying the food, and listening to songs... well, there are also many pretty girls and cute guys around.. but, they are not as cute as my honey bunny... hehehe... anyway, these are some nice photos...

Its April Fool's Day and guess what!!?? I'm spending most of my time in MMU Main Hall... There is going to be a Chinese Song Composition Contest. I am one of the working committee and I'm seriously drop dead tired... i don't know why...
